A Little About Me

A Brief Background – I was born in Saginaw Michigan and grew up in Frankenmuth, a small town about an hour north of Detroit. The town’s main focus is tourism with two World Class restaurants and Bronner Christmas Wonderland, the largest Christmas store in the World … where my mother worked for 35 years … her last position being in human resources.  My father retired from General Motors working in security for most of his career.

I’ve always enjoyed outdoor activities like camping and fishing …  playing baseball and soccer were my sports of choice growing up. And I was always interested in leading-edge technology, techniques, and tools and how to use them to maximize growth … both personally and professionally.

Continuous learning and sharing wisdom is a passion of mine … I participate in several mastermind groups like Brian Tracy, Michael Hyatt, Tony Robins, Dean Graziosi etc., have mentors and coaches, consume advanced leadership/business growth courses on Coursera/Udemy, and study the best business practices and latest research.

Been there done that … Global Sales, Operations and Marketing Executive who guides teams to drive record setting results and gain market share in highly competitive markets. I have a unique background working/launching several entrepreneurial Start Ups as well as Fortune 500 companies … I have walked in your shoes and seen the good the bad and the ugly.

Success doesn't happen by accident … You need a proven system for achieving it. I learned first-hand the benefits of a business operating system while working for Danaher Corporation. They have a proven system for achieving success … They call it the Danaher Business System (DBS), and it drives every aspect of their culture and performance. They use DBS to guide what they do, measure how well they execute, and create options for continuous improvements. Fun Fact … Danaher is the number one CEO incubator worldwide (Verne Harnish – Author of Mastering the Rockefeller Habits and Scaling Up).

I have a wide range of industry experience … Insurance, Banking, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Public Sector, and Nonprofit organizations … and working with strategic alliance partners including AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, HPE and UBX Cloud.

I am a high-integrity, adaptive and flexible guide.   I adjust my style based on the needs of the leadership team to drive success for the organization. I encourage team members to become self-reliant, provide ongoing direction and coaching, and roll up my sleeves to lead by example.  My role is to create a climate and build a foundation for success and overperformance.  Hiring, inspiring and empowering top talent is a must … as is creating an environment that allows each leadership team member to excel.
